Andrew Shapiro at PAUSA w/ guest vocalist Suzanne Fatta

  • PAUSA Art House 19 Wadsworth Street Buffalo, NY, 14201 United States

Andrew Shapiro is a composer and songwriter who blends his two biggest musical influences: '80s New Wave pop and Philip Glass minimalism. Shapiro's music is regularly played on radio worldwide and he has been featured in The New Yorker, ABC News, CNN, Gramophone, Psychology Today, and Daily Candy. Performance highlights include The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington, D.C.), the Exit Festival (Serbia), TED, Bard College, Joe's Pub, Gracie Mansion, Bargemusic and the Wordless Music Series at Le Poisson Rouge, New York.

I'm very excited to welcome my friend Andy from Oberlin to Buffalo for a concert at PAUSA Art House! And who loves 80s New Wave more than me... looking forward to joining him on his original songs, as well as covers of The Smiths and Psychedelic Furs.

General Admission: $10; $5 Students with ID. Doors at 6, Show at 8. Arrive early! Parking is difficult in Allentown, and tables fill up quickly at PAUSA.
